2 yrs old palm as seen on the picture, which i had planted on interior NCR land at Segamat Binyo,Sarawak area. the area consist of 40 acres. The young palm which is 2 yrs old already start to produce flower as i had seen during my last visit to my farm. but during the initial when it just started flower, we need to chop off the say flower, in such the tree trunk will grow bigger and thus it can have bigger tree trunk and higher in FFB production. but nevertheless i had not do this due to the labor constrain at this moment of time. Estimate FFB production is 2.5tan/hectare when palm are fully matured after 5 yrs.
